Muscovey ducks are very easy to domesticate, and can be super friendly. Apart from being excellent for eating their eggs are super great for baking and eating. I’m not sure what is wrong with my thumb nail. It’s is extremely painful if I bump it against something but there is no visible fungus or trauma of any kind. It also sometimes aches so bad for no reason just for a few seconds but it’s very intense. Does anyone think this treatment could help me? I know no one here is a doctor and I won’t hold anyone responsible for any suggestions they might try if they were me.

An English lady said recently that surgical spitit works best. Take a cotton bud and soak up the spirit and deposit it on the nail. Do it until you see good results.

I was looking for reviews on rosemary oil. I got an oral medication and it took me a long way but the tips of my thumbs were just kind of lingering and I was afraid it would take over again. Put bleach in a shot glass and soak finger/ toe for 2 or 3 minutes once a day. Make sure you rinse and dry the affected area right away. Don’t use this treatment if it causes a burn or sores. Stop immediately.

Interestingly, icepick grip (really the equivalent short grip) is quite useful in stickfighting. You have the length to defend the forearm, can hook legs as a defense against kicks, stuff like that. You see it in particular in baitreacht for example.

I'm going to start showering with a waterproof cast-protector to always keep the foot dry and apply Lysol Disinfecting Spray and Gold Bond Medicated Foot Powder to shoes socks. As far as treatment, I'm going to try this daily regimen: 1) Cut nail as short as possible 2) sand down the top of the nail with a dremel / electronic-foot-file 3) Soften nail by soaking it for 20 minutes using: 1Tbsp Epson Salt + 1/3 Cup Water + 1/3 Cup White Vinegar + 1/3 Cup bleach + 1 tsp Yellow Listerine (Thymol) 4) Thoroughly Dry Nail with hair dryer, or use fire from Lighter 5) shine UV light with one of those (covid?) sanitation devices. 6) Mix as much BAKING SODA as possible to Vaseline+VicksVaporRub (Thymol) and apply this paste to the nail 7) Apply 2 Drops of Iodine (Decolorized Povidone) + Tea Tree / Oregano / Clove / Lavender Oil + Pro Clearz Toenail ‘polish’ (contains 1% Tolnaftate) 8) Gently wrap to prevent any water contact

Quite thought provoking. However, If you want people change, you probably need to lend them a hand and show them some tasty dishes to inspire them... A big problem for many is that they either have little time to cook, and or little money to eat healthy. I noticed it over and over again that even cakes become healthier when you make them yourself (not feeling unnaturally full, or getting reflux issues). You can do a lot with quality meat and fish and some herbs, etc. but it's no real option for the hard working masses. Just look how frigging expensive even native vegetables have gotten and the fictional food basket for calculating inflation has mostly thrown out meat! Allegedly to adapt to modern habits, but it's really either that they changed because of their budget or that the real reason for the changing basket was to keep the inflation artificially low...
